The Second Annual Website Thru the Night is Almost Here!

January 17, 2018 (0) Comments

The countdown is on – Website Thru the Night is this weekend! From noon on Saturday to noon on Sunday, a brand new batch of geek squads will race to build websites for non-profits in the Delaware County area. They will keep their energy up with delicious meals and mountains of snacks, donated by sponsors. Then a week-long voting period will start, where voters can pick their favorite website by making a donation to the non-profit in question. The non-profit with the most money raised through their website by the end of the week wins!

Non-profits for this year’s event are Big Time Barbell, The MLK Dream Team, Hearts and Hands United of Delaware County, Daleville Community Library, and Muncie Delaware Senior Center.      Besides getting a chance to flex their coding skills by building these deserving non-profits new websites in only 24 hours, geek teams will also compete for prizes like MVG (Most Valuable Geek) and Geek’s Choice.

Stay updated on the night’s coding madness by following the #WTTN hashtag on Facebook and Twitter. And keep your eyes peeled for a fancy Website Thru the Night Snapchat geofilter!

Spotted Monkey Marketing is a sponsor for the event, along with eKeeper Systems, Innovation Connector, Gill Brothers Furniture, Thompson Group, Muncie-Delaware County Chamber of Commerce, Mulligan’s Bar & Grill, Dairy Queen, A-1 Graphics, Pizza King, Once Upon a Plate, WIPB, IPR, A-1 For Fun, NBE Event Group, Sea Salt & Cinnamon and Main Street Apparel.

Want to learn more about the event? Visit for details. If you’re a non-profit in need of a website and want to be involved in the next WTTN, submission guidelines can be found on the site.

Don’t forget to check the website on Sunday afternoon to check out the new websites and vote for your favorite!
